Educators all over the world are learning to harness the Internet as a powerful tool for teaching and learning. The Internet extends the effectiveness of the classroom experience and turns it into an exciting and interactive education environment.

The Internet is changing the way the world works, plays, and communicates, and along with it, the landscape of education. Instructors and students use the World Wide Web for a variety of educational purposes, ranging from exploring areas of interest, to looking for reference materials, to sharing interesting ideas for teaching and learning. However, finding information that is academically oriented, accurate, credible and up-to-date amidst the millions of Web sites, can be difficult, time-consuming and often quite frustrating. To help alleviate the frustration and to enhance our students online experience the SPOT!, created a resource center designed to cut out hours of unnecessary surfing by providing links to resource tools as well as support materials from the SPOT!
