WHAT IS A RESUME?
A resume is a document that provides a concise outline of your job-related experiences and academic background. The purpose of a resume is not to get you a job, but to get you an interview. Resumes are a screening device for employers so they can decide whether you are someone they would like to meet and learn more about. Think of your resume as your favorite commercial: how can you present yourself best? Know your audience and target what you can offer them!

Take 30 Seconds to read this short page. It will get you an interview and the job you want. Most people write very bad resumes. They are truly appalling. Consequently, 95% of resumes are put straight into the waste bin. Because of this, it takes too many candidates a long time to achieve their career objectives.

But it doesn't have to be like that. To address these problems, we've poured thirty years of management and consultancy experience into developing a resume writing technique that has achieved amazing results for all job applicants - even for the unemployed.

What exactly is age discrimination at work? It's many things, and the legal protection starts at age 40. It includes refusing to hire or promote older workers, coercing them to retire, targeting them when a work force reduction is necessary, curtailing their employee benefits, and limiting their training opportunities, job responsibilities and duties. Whether it's blatant or subtle, it's discrimination and it's against the law.
