Gypsy Town is an open, dynamic and evolving community where the goal is to socialize and discuss ideas and issues in a thoughtful and respectful manner.   Our live chats allow the community to engage in a written group discussion live. This has the advantage of more immediacy, less waiting, more spontaneity in dialogue. You can hold scheduled chats with others acting as the moderator or assign participant group chats to discuss special themes.

  This is where the community events, Chat schedules and live-events are posted. This is also the area you will want to use to post any notices you may want to share with other members of the community, to keep everyone informed as to what is going on.

    The Caravan Café is a social area for all participants. A fun gathering place to take a break, relax and socialize, virtually. Find someone to chat with, kick back and read the comics, send an electronic birthday card or...play a game.
    
  • A Never Ending Story
    A never-ending story... as you may know, grows with the contributions of the group. The idea is to open a door for others to go down and build a story with many possibilities. The basic requirement is for you to read the latest posting and then add to it going in whatever direction you think you can take it.
    
    This may not take less than 50 words to achieve but in any case should not be more than 3-400 words at a time. So join in, keep it flowing and see what can be achieved. You are all welcome to contribute. Always end with an incomplete sentence, only real rule.

    Just a fun thing, ask a question about a place or time and see if someone remembers or has information.

    I love reading the "odd news" or "weird news" items that I find on a lot of news sites. Some are funny. Some are pretty disgusting. Some are just simply odd. For the most part though, they've hold something that at least makes me say, "hum...."
